S.T.E.A.M is an acronym for: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Design, Mathematics.  This is not a program but rather a philosophy that integrates these five disciplines in the classroom. The Dalton School is moving toward adopting this philosophy for their After School Programs.  All After School Programs will encompass STEAM skills which are vital for success in the 21st century. Your children will learn to collaborate, cooperate and communicate!  

Hiring of staff and procurement of resources are made in advance of camps, immersion days or after school programs and therefore no refund is available once your child is registered.

The Window of the World, located in Shenzhen, China is a theme park that showcases about 130 reproduction of the world’s most famous landmarks. At Mandarin Lego Club, we will travel to different parts of the world and learn about the world’s most famous tourist attractions and world wonders. We will also learn about Lego artists’ strategies for Lego sculptures. Ready to build our own Window of the World at Dalton? Come join us every Monday for some Mandarin Lego sculpturing!

We will sing songs in Mandarin and put together a performance on the last day of the program. Anne of Green Gables is a famous Canadian novel written by Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. This story talks about an orphan who was accidentally sent to two siblings intending to adopt a boy to help them on their farm. Anne and Gilbert along with other friends have many adventures together on Prince Edward Island.
